Mandiana is a town in Mandiana Prefecture, Guinea, with a population of 85,611 (2014). It is located at the confluence of the Sankarani and Niandan Rivers, in the northeastern part of the country. The climate is tropical, with average temperatures ranging from 22 to 32 degrees Celsius. The town was founded in the 19th century by the Mandinka people, and it served as a major trading center for gold and other goods.
