Saint-Herblain, also known as Sant-Ervlan, is a commune in the Pays de la Loire region of western France, located in the Loire-Atlantique department. It is situated on the southern outskirts of Nantes, on the banks of the Erdre River. The climate is temperate oceanic, with mild winters and warm summers. Saint-Herblain has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era. It was part of the Duchy of Brittany from the 9th century until the 16th century, when it became part of France.
