It is located in the Iberian System, on the right bank of the Matarraña River, at an altitude of 525 meters above sea level. The municipality has a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and cold winters. Fabara has a rich history and heritage, with evidence of human occupation dating back to the Bronze Age. The town was founded by the Moors in the 10th century, and it was later conquered by the Christians in the 12th century. Fabara's heritage includes the Church of Santa María, which was built in the 14th century, and the Hermitage of San Miguel, which was built in the 16th century.
