Hochheim am Main, or simply Hochheim, is a town in the district of Main-Taunus in Hesse, Germany. It is located on the right bank of the Main River, approximately 10 km southwest of Frankfurt. The town has a mild climate, with average temperatures ranging from 3°C in January to 19°C in July. Hochheim has a long and rich history, dating back to the Roman era. It was first mentioned in a document in 754 AD, and it received town rights in 1398. The town is famous for its vineyards, which produce some of the finest Riesling wines in Germany.
