Lind is a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Eifel mountains, approximately 30 km southwest of Bonn. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C in January to 20°C in July. Lind has a long history, dating back to the Roman era. The town was first mentioned in a document in 1074. In the Middle Ages, Lind was a fortified town and played an important role in the defense of the Rhineland.
