Reinsfeld is a village in the Rhein-Hunsrück district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Hunsrück mountains, at an elevation of 420 meters. The village has a population of about 200 people. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from 0°C in January to 20°C in July. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1291. It was part of the County of Sponheim until 1794, when it was occupied by France. After the Napoleonic Wars, Reinsfeld became part of Prussia. In 1946, it became part of the newly founded state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
