Unnau is a municipality in the Westerwaldkreis district of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the central part of the state, approximately 20 kilometers east of Koblenz. In the Middle Ages, Unnau was part of the County of Sayn, and it later passed to the Duchy of Nassau.
