Wieseth is a municipality in the district of Ansbach in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the Franconian Heights, approximately 25 kilometers southwest of Ansbach and 40 kilometers west of Nuremberg. The municipality has a population of around 1,400 and covers an area of 20 square kilometers. The climate is temperate, with average temperatures ranging from -1°C in January to 19°C in July. The municipality was first mentioned in 1298 and was granted market rights in 1407. The town is home to several historical buildings, including the 15th-century town hall and the 17th-century St. Michael's Church.
