Paralimni, also known as Paralim, is a town located on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, in the Famagusta District. The town has a warm Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Paralimni has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the Neolithic period. The town was once part of the ancient kingdom of Amathus, and was later ruled by the Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans. Paralimni is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Church of Agios Georgios, the Agia Napa Monastery, and the Famagusta Gate.
