Wutongkou, also known as Wuhu, is a town located in Hubei Province, China, at the coordinates 30.6926° N, 114.40349° E. The town has a humid subtropical climate, with average temperatures ranging from 16.5°C (61.7°F) in January to 29.5°C (85.1°F) in July. Wutongkou has a long history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Neolithic period. The town was an important trade center during the Song Dynasty, and it was also the site of a major battle during the Taiping Rebellion. Today, Wutongkou is a thriving town with a population of over 100,000 people. The town is home to a number of historical and cultural sites, including the Wutongkou Ancient Town, the Wutongkou Museum, and the Wutongkou Temple.
