Ganquan is a county-level city in Gansu Sheng, China, located at the southern foot of the Liupan Mountains. The city has a continental monsoon climate, with hot summers and cold winters. Ganquan has a long history, dating back to the Qin dynasty. It was once an important military stronghold, and was the site of several battles during the Three Kingdoms period. The city is also home to a number of historical sites, including the Ganquan Temple and the Longshan Grottoes.
