Genhe, also known as Ergun Zuoqi, is a city in Inner Mongolia, China, located at the confluence of the Ergun and Genhe rivers, near the border with Russia. It has a cold temperate continental climate, with long, cold, dry winters and short, warm, wet summers. Genhe has a rich history and heritage, having been a major trading center on the Silk Road and home to numerous ethnic groups, including the Mongols, Manchus, and Russians.
