Asaka, also known as Zelensk, is a city in Andijon Region, Uzbekistan, located at 40.6413900 latitude and 72.2372200 longitude. The city has a humid continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. Asaka's history dates back to the 10th century, when it was known as Assake. In the 19th century, it was renamed Leninsk after Vladimir Lenin. The city's heritage includes a number of historical sites, including the Asaka Mausoleum and the Asaka Mosque.
