Rapid City, South Dakota, also known as Rapid-Siti or Рапид-Сити, is a city in the western United States, located at the eastern foothills of the Black Hills at an elevation of 3,231 feet (985 m) above sea level. The city has a population of 74,703 (2020) and is the second-largest city in South Dakota after Sioux Falls.
