Corralitos is a small unincorporated community in Santa Cruz County, California, located at the intersection of Highway 1 and Corralitos Road, approximately 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Watsonville. The area has a Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Corralitos has a rich history and heritage, dating back to the Spanish colonial period when it was part of Rancho Bolsa de las Palmas Mexican land grant. In the late 19th century, the area became a center for fruit and vegetable farming, and today it is still known for its agricultural products.
