West Brattleboro, Vermont is a town located in Windham County, Vermont, United States. It is part of the Brattleboro, VT-NH micropolitan statistical area. The town is situated on the west bank of the Connecticut River, opposite the city of Brattleboro. West Brattleboro has a humid continental climate, with cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers. The town was first settled in 1764 and was originally known as "Westminster". The name was changed to "West Brattleboro" in 1818. The town is home to a number of historic buildings, including the West Brattleboro Meetinghouse, which was built in 1833.
