Cornwall is a borough in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located at 40.2737° N, 76.4061° W, and is part of the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. The borough has a humid continental climate, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Cornwall was founded in 1734 by John Harris, Sr., and was originally known as Harris's Ferry. The borough was renamed Cornwall in 1815 after the English county of the same name. Cornwall has a rich history and heritage, and is home to a number of historic sites, including the Cornwall Iron Furnace, which was built in 1742 and is one of the oldest surviving iron furnaces in the United States.
