Wilbraham, Massachusetts is a town in Hampden County, Massachusetts, United States. It is located approximately 10 miles (16 km) east of Springfield, Massachusetts, and is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town has a population of 14,214 as of the 2020 census. Wilbraham was first settled in 1730 and was officially incorporated as a town in 1763. The town is named after Sir Roger Wilbraham, a British official who was a friend of the town's founder, Colonel John Pynchon. Wilbraham is known for its beautiful scenery, its historic homes, and its excellent schools. The town is also home to several parks and recreation areas, including the Wilbraham & Monson Academy Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
