Norfolk is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Located approximately 20 miles southwest of Boston, Norfolk has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. The town was founded in 1680 and was originally known as Wrentham. In 1775, Norfolk was incorporated as a separate town. The town is home to several historic sites, including the Norfolk Public Library, which was built in 1887 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
