Billings, Missouri, is a small town located in the southern part of the state, approximately 80 miles southwest of Springfield. The town has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Billings was founded in 1882 and was named after Frederick Billings, the president of the Northern Pacific Railroad.
